Historic England: Heritage Skills Summer School

Commissioned by Historic England, we were asked to come and film at Wentworth House, where the apprentices were given the opportunity to learn from Historic England and other experts within heritage conservation.

From the Heritage Skills Programme, 19 trainees were recruited to learn about endangered crafts around the North of England. The apprentices were able to explain what heritage conservation means to them, what this day of learning has helped them achieve, and how learning endangered crafts can have a positive impact in the future.
