Commissioned by the Museum of Gloucester, we were asked to create 2 short films that could be used as part of the Museum's Education Loan Boxes.

From objects from the Museum, activities, lesson plans and teaching guides, the Education Loan Boxes provide a fun and practical way of learning about the past, and are available to schools, home educators and care homes.

Both films created focus on iconic individuals, and how they describe life in Britain during different time period. From the Saxon box, we see how Æthelflæd, Lady of the Mercians swore to protect the people of Gloucester during the Viking Invasion, and in the Roman box, we hear from one of the greatest Roman historians and writers, Tacitus as he describes how the people of Britain reacted to the Roman conquest, and how they cope in their day-to-day lives.
