We were recently commissioned by the National Army Museum to create an educational film on the Indian Mutiny as part of the Museum's 'Virtual Classroom' series, which are digital versions of their school workshop programme.
With two presenters, the film explores the trigger cause, the main events and the outcomes of the Indian Rebellion of 1857, whilst showcasing key objects from the museum's collection, such as a rifle, sword and cannonball.
The film also sought to utilise powerful pieces of artwork and photographs taken from the museums extensive historical collections. It also sought to bring films to life showcasing the tangible objects that still exists within the museums collections, whilst also educating the next generation about a historically significant event.
